PostDoc position in yeast cell modeling


We are looking for a colleague to join our yeast cell modeling team. We have developed numerous models for processes in yeast and want to combine them. The ideal candidate would have ample experience in mathematical modeling of dynamic processes and different modeling formalisms. The ideal candidate would also be a specialist in yeast cell biology. However, we know that there are not so many ideal people – so please also apply if you have related experiences and are excited about learning more.

 

The following capabilities and experiences would be beneficial

 

  • PhD in an area of natural sciences or mathematics
  • Knowledge in mathematical modeling of complex systems
  • Knowledge in non-linear optimization and data analysis
  • Proficiency in programming with Python

 

Essential is that you enjoy working in a team, are highly motivated, and willing to take responsibility.
